It's all happening in FS2!

Well, what an exciting day in FS2!
Miss Sullivan and Mrs Lewis had to go to a very boring meeting with Mrs Scarisbrick this morning and it turns out they missed an unexpected visitor popping into Foxes and Otters.

While they were in the school office two characters from fairy-tale land had popped out of their books and made the journey to Lister school. They had come to spread the word of the BIG BAD WOLF. The Mummy pigs were very concerned that other pigs and animals in fairy-tale land might get a visit from him and wanted us to be able to tell the story to warn them if we got anymore visitors.

The Mummy pigs were very funny and told the story using actions and rhyme which helped us to remember it.

We were very excited to tell Miss Sullivan and Mrs Lewis all about the visitors when they got back from their meeting. We taught them how to tell the story like the Mummy pigs had shown us. Our teachers were not as fast at learning it as we were and we had to show them lots of times.

After school Miss Sullivan and Mrs Lewis received an email ..it was from the Mummy pigs. They have videoed themselves telling the story so that we can teach it to our families and spread the word of the BIG BAD WOLF.

  2. Wow Foxes and Otters how exciting that mummy pig came to visit you! You all learnt how to retell the story very very well and should be extremely proud of yourselves. I can't wait to find out where your learning journey takes you next!

  3. Loved the videos! Maisey did attempt to re tell the story (including actions)... She couldn't quite remember it all though. I'm sure she'll be over the moon when I show her the videos. Got a feeling they'll be watched over and over again. I agree with Kasey, the blog is a fab idea to keep us parents informed!
